PAYMENT TERMS

• 30-days Credit (Letter of Credit) from buyer’s bankers provided in advance of shipment

• 100% Advance Payment via Wire Transfer or Bank Draft prior to shipment of goods

• May offer 1 to 3 days credit (via special arrangements with Tijule’s Finance Department) for proven repeat buyers

• Minimum of 50% Advance Payment prior to manufacturing goods for Co-Packing/White

• Label arrangements

TO OUR VALUED REPEAT CUSTOMERS/BUYERS TO WHOM WE MAY OFFER PARTIAL CREDIT,
PLEASE NOTE:
We value your business and urge you to maintain open communication with the Tijule
Company Limited at all times regarding outstanding payment for our products. We truly
understand your challenges but our hard-working and dedicated workers are from poor
marginalized communities and they rely solely on the Tijule Company Limited (TCL) for their
well-deserved, hard-earned income to support their families.

Where there are breaches of any agreed payment terms between TCL and a Buyer as
highlighted under ‘Payment Terms’ (without alternate validated payment arrangements
being put in place with the Buyer and Tijule’s Export & Logistics Officer and its Finance
Controller), this will result in cost-recovery being activated by TCL’s legal team against the
Buyer within their respective international location; and may include notices on the Internet
(social media) and in other public media.

SHIPPING & LOGISTICS

Export deliveries maybe arranged through Tijule’s or other Customs Broker on the request of
buyers. The different modes of transportation are:

• Airfreight (small shipments)

• Ocean Freight (20 ft. or 40 ft.) or Less than a Container load (LCL). Tijule supports liaison with its customers/buyers to consolidate orders with other Jamaican companies at the buyer’s request.

• We courier samples via FedEx or the Post Office. Small Packages, that is, Small Orders are accommodated for our customers at their request and their cost as per their written instructions.

• ALL of Tijule’s manufactured products including Juliana, Nel’s Old Time and Clarendon Blends brands and white/private labels/co-packing are sold to buyers Ex-Factory/Ex-Works. That is, the buyer or retailer pays upfront for products and the buyer or retailer covers transportation and other logistics cost from Tijule’s factory at 30 Paisley Avenue, Clarendon, Jamaica to the buyer’s/retailer’s desired destination locally and overseas. Tijule will assist with the loading of container(s) to be shipped for customers/buyers at their request.
